South Somerset Disability Forum is a passionate about the making sure that the whole community is easily able to move about the built environment.

In practical terms this means someone using a wheel chair, mobility scooter or pram should be able to cross a road at a junction by the use of dropped kerbs. Our members look out for places where these are not installed and should be or where they are damaged or unusable.

If you would like to report something to us, please use the form below. We report your findings to Highways and highlight any issues we know of with the appropriate Town, District and County authorities until appropriate action is taken.

Do any of the following apply? Please tick as applicable:

Dropped kerb needed Dropped kerb too high Dropped kerb too steep Dropped kerb gradient too steep Tactile paving slab damage Footpath too narrow Poor signage Poor/broken/raised pavements Inaccessible parking meters Inaccessible (wheelchair, buggy etc – town) Inaccessible (wheelchair, buggy etc – countryside) Other/s
